Sometimes its difficult to say the right thing and you have to go with your heart...more times than not. dlj

Perhaps I should Say…

Sometimes, saying nothing is best
when nothing else can be said.
Sometimes, just sometimes,
I find it hard
To say the right things,
the eloquent,
fluid,
meaningful
and courageous
things.
Then from out of the blue
I say the first thing that
comes to mind…
and that’s when I know
It was the best thing to say.


Perhaps I should say that more often.

I was raised to believe if I couldn't think of something nice to say, say nothing at all. If it were something pleasant then be too willing to share it out loud. Very well written and understood Dan. Thank you.
