,
Little sparrow you move with blind faith, why so?
You never fear, quiver, or hide, what do you know?

Little sparrow you take only what you need, never caching.
You have the joy of summer on your face, from winter’s cold never dashing.

Little sparrow, is this a gift you have; no worries about tomorrow, is it true .Is someone watching little sparrow, could he be watching me, to?

I watched a white crowned sparrow this afternoon from my window, he sat in the bush and weathered snow flakes and small sleet, barely blinking he sat and watched, as I sat and watched him...it is all very connected :)

Dan - Enjoyed this poem. Nice rhythm and reference to the Biblical quote.
Especially liked the last lines,

Is someone watching little sparrow, could he be watching me, to?

the sparrow is an object lesson to men with frivolous desires --and the promise that we too are being looked after by Him -- I like this very much Dan -- a wonderful message in a beautifully written poem --Happy Easter - peace and love -- Jon Michael

Yes He does. "The Lord watches over you- the Lord is your shade at your right hand;...The Lord will keep you from all harm and will watch over your life; (Psalm 121:5,7)

Thanks you for writing this short poem with a profound message.
