A Few Thoughts From a Friend
I listen to the
sunshine telling me to smile.
Yelling,"Stop whining".
Sad eyes remember
loving arms, urgent passion,
whispers and kisses.
The homeless woman,.
tangled hair, smelly clothes, fat.
Once a beauty queen.
Imagine a world
with ubiquitous kindness,
laughing and loving.
Hallways of healing.
Bodies making adjustments.
Death always lurking.
