Listen to the music
Dan Johnson
© July 13, 2010

I love soulful jazz
Sounds that touch tear tease and turn
Your soul upside down.

I love bluesy blues
Burning breaking blowing bad
News ‘bout faded love

I love country to
Six strings twanging and unplugged
Closing time again.

Music, in one form or another reaches out and touches the soul of every person. If ever there was a universal language to accompany artistic renderings, it is music. Your poem reveals that ability with great style Dan. May peace and love be always with you my friend. Jon Michael

So much mood captured in nine lines, Dan...not easy to do.

Enjoyed these, Don. Sometimes very few words can produce an abundance of information. Well done!
