Bouquets

Bouquets that bloom forth
from the lips of men
fragrant in my nose
whispered sweetly
on the breezes
tickling my ears

Flowers drip nectar sweet
upon my dry tongue
drinking every drop
pouring slowly
as it eases
quenching my thrist

Bouquets too quickly die
and leave in their place
lost completely
dry fallen petals
as the breezes
carry them away

I have not a good green thumb, and therefore have had many dead bouquets. But the poetry is alive in you!
