The power of God

Jesus was the greatest man
This world will ever see
Sent from God to this world
To die for you and me

He felt pain just like we do
Emotional as well
But his eyes betrayed no fear
When he met the beast from hell

It tempted first, then taunted
its eyes ablaze with hate
But Jesus weak and weary
Would never take its bate

The Devil was defeated now
And crawled back to its kind
Though Jesus, drained in body
Was stronger in his mind

Then the order came, nail him high
And God held back his wrath
Jesus his son must die this way
It was his chosen path

So if your scared or lonely
And you don't know what to do
Think of the GREATEST, Jesus Christ
Who died for me and you
