Bumps in the night

I saw her, I saw her
But nobody cares
She stood at my door
At the top of the stairs

I screamed and I hollered
And my parents charged in
But my mother said lying
Was a terrible sin

But i'm not lying mother
I know what I seen
Its face was like charcoal
Its lips they were green

They say i'm so stupid
Its just all in my mind
But there's something behind me
I'm afraid to look round

Then I saw her again
As she came through my wall
My room it was shaking
Things started to fall

Then my parents rushed in
But this time it stood fast
And I watched mother faint
As dad uttered a gasp

Now they know what i've seen
And they'll doubt me no more
Cause' in less than one minute
They where out through the door
