NO ONE'S POEM

Don't hide it away
This poem does not belong to you Nor does it belong to me You simply penned it, thought the words But its the reading that sets it free You sat and wrote some flowing words And you wanted them to keep But you shared the caring simple verse In a pen to make souls weep The secret's that your heart did hide Spews forth in erupting rhyme And the feeling that your mind endured Will echo to the end of time The words can't be locked inside a vault Or buried far out at sea Cause' once its read, the words are used Now they're a second hand catagory Unlock the beauty of you're cosmic verse Don't hide these words away And People can read this verse my friend On some far off distant day �

You are so right. Once the poem is read, it can not be hidden away or taken back. The words are free, just repeat them. Great little piece.
