Try your best

When the man built his house on stoney ground
It stood while others fell
But when the same man tried to plough his land
It just didn´t go all that well

Cause´every positive has a negative side
And when the bad overtakes the good
Then death and mayhem link their arms
Leaving heartache where happiness once stood

It´s a case of keeping the balance right
Tip the scales toward the positive side
And when your time it finally comes
You´ll have lived with dignity and pride

And love is always stronger than hate
But hate has a cunning plan
To oust the good, let hate go forth
All led by the red horned man

But this plan it cannot and will not work
It is simply to cause´us fright
We´ll go forward together just doing our best
Led on by the man in white

I like this . . . checks and balances . . . In a just world that is a fact . . . Sometimes, however the world tilts toward the haters . . . It seems to be doing that as we speak . . .

These Black and Blue Red Zone Days by Aberjhani

Just as life during the pandemic was color-coded with different hues representing different levels of danger, life in its aftermath has become shaded in similar ways. As a self-styled “Seeker of Beauty with Beauty,” (borrowing from a quote by W.E.B.
