Your body sweats and trembles
As you hold your aching head
You don't remember coming home last night
And you don't know what you said
With disgust your wife she stares at you
Then she quickly walks away
You promised you'd be home by ten
But you knew that you would stay
You frantically search your wallet
Then you go and look eleswhere
The money you had to pay the rent
It just simply is not there
Cause' you don't remember splashing out
Buying drinks for one and all
When the pats you got on your macho back
Made you feel just ten feet tall
So you tell your wife through sobbing gasp's
That you've blown it bloody all
And now your not so big my friend
Through her tears you feel so small
Your angry guilt brings you to your knees
You'll drink no more, and you make this plain
But then Friday comes around once more
And the cycle begins again
