I think of the sun shining down on me
As I stroll on the soft golden sand
And the cool waves splash around my feet
In this beautiful Spanish land

That's Benidorm town i'm talking about
A place where there's so much to do
There's shops and bars and many hotels
It can really take hold of you

The nightlife has all you can imagine
From comedian's to singers, and more
Or you can simply sit out on your balcony
And look out as the moon strikes the shore

There are coach trips to every location
Most are free, and on this I kid you not
And what a variety of restaurant's
Why you can choose from quite a lot

I can't wait until I return there
Cause' I miss it in a very big way
And if only circumstance would change for me
Then Benidorm's the place I would stay

But like most people I live in the real world
Where commitment's force me to stay
And although I can't go out and live there
I will return for a great holiday
