My Darling, your gentleness stole my heart and you had me from your first Hello.
You tip-toed into my life without an announcement or fanfare,
Suddenly I felt a warm presence and discovered you there.
You whispered," Hello, is it me you're lookin for?, Will you welcome me in?"
Then you dazzled me with sweetness and stole my heart with your grin.
How could I refuse your heart's plea,
So I threw caution to the wind and gathered you close to me.
You have made a permanent home in my heart,
I always worry so about you when we are apart.
You inspire all my love poetry,
For with each word I write, it's your face I see,
You are easy like Sunday Morning and lay gentle on my mind,
With each passing day, I care for you more, I find.
You have touched my heart and made it glow,
And my Darlin, you had me from your first Hello!
