This is the end of my Cherokee Love Story

Lone Wolf made love to Doe-eyes all through the night,
The night skies smiled at the lovers, all was right.
Within Lone Wolf's arms, Doe-eyes found home,
His passionate love making made her tremble and moan.
She realized that without him life would not mean a thing,
It was Lone Wolf that made her heart sing.
They finally dirfted off into a peaceful sleep,
Paradise became something to hold and keep.
In Lone Elk's tribe, there was great unrest,
Doe-eyes had been stolen away, Lone Elks only daughter, putting his peace of mind to the test.
Doe-eyes, the daughter of, Cloud, his dead wife,
Cloud, had died, giving Doe-eyes life.
Fear gripped his soul and he vowed not to rest,
He would find her and put the bastard that stole her to the test!
Lone Wolf's mother, Mara, cried, thinking that evil spirits had spirited her son away,
He had just vanished and alone and scared, for his safety she did pray.
Crazy Coyote, had wanted Doe-eyes for his own,
She had mocked him and demanded that he leave her alone!
He joined Lone Elk and other braves,
They were in hot pursuit, Doe-eyes ro save.
They had ridden all night, with blood in their eyes,
They swore that the mangy dog, would die!
They found Lone Wolf's hideaway at break of day,
Finding Doe-eyes in Lone Wolf's arms, peacefully, they did lay.
Crazy Coyote jumped from his horse,
He pulled his knife and was going to kill Lone Wolf, of course.
He pulled Doe-eyes from Lone Wolf's embrace,
Pure rage masked his face.
Doe-eyes screamed and Crazy Coyote slapped her face,
He hissed," Shut-up woman, you are in disgrace!"
Lone Elk demanded," Leave Doe-eyes be!",
" I am her father, she and Lone Wolf must deal with me!"
" Daughter! Cover yourself and stand away!"
" Lone Wolf will pay with his life today!"
Lone Wolf jumped to his feet,
He would fight for his woman, his destiny and he would soon meet.
Doe-eyes ran to her father, begging for him to understand,
That she loved Lone Wolf and she wanted him to be her man.
This angered Crazy Coyote and he made a lunge with his knife,
Lone Wolf would die and Doe-eyes would be his wife!
Doe-eyes ran ar Crazy Coyote and jumped on his back,
Clamping her legs around him, she began to attack!
She bit his ear and blood streamed down,
He loosened her grip and threw her to the ground!
Lone Wolf charged at Crazy Coyote, but Lone Elk came between them to intercede,
He found underdstanding in his daughter's heartfelt plea.
Lone Elk said," It is finished, this matter is done!"
" Doe-eyes knows her heart, Lone Wolf is her chosen one!"
There would now be peace in the Cherokee Tribe!
Lone Wolf now had the love of his Captive Bride!
