My idea of what the East Texas area is like. My Mom stays there a few days a week and then comes home Wednesdays thru Fridays. I have been out there myself a few times in the past when I was younger.
East Texas area, It is very SLOW out there. Not much going on in them hills!
The latest news was the Wal-mart being built in the town of Mineola!
I think the most important and wonderful thing about living in East Texas is No Traffic like in Dallas and Ft. Worth freeways!

Great expression from a small Texas town. My small towns are Newton, Kirbyville, and Silsbee. I am use to the town closing up at 10pm and those yellow lights blinking at the intersections. Thanks for sharing this.
