How I am dealing with my Skull lesion and the questions I have surrounding it, etc. It is on my mind daily, even though the doctors said all was well for now.
What it means to me to have a Skull Lesion:
It means wondering how much the lesion might grow in between now and one year from now.
It means wondering if the lesion is starting to have effects on me that we do not know about and figure it might be something else?
It means knowing the lesion is sitting like a time bomb on my skull.
It is up to me to be faithful to God in order to preserve my sanity for the coming year while I have this time bomb on my skull.
It means just forgetting about it all, possibly, and enjoying life! But, alas, I cannot do that, I am a worrywart! It is in my nature.
I will continue to get lesions in the skull/brain as long as I live, I have a Syndrome called, “Cowden’s Syndrome” which, to sum it up, causes vascular tumors or lesions in certain areas of the body. It has chosen the brain for me and two of my three other sisters. Only the eldest sister does not have Cowden’s.

Reviews of "What it means to me to have a Skull lesion"
over the last year my good friend has had two brain surgeries for tumors and the prognosis is now good ... he has expressed similiar sentiments as has told me a positive attitude always helps ... be well and always remain a fighter ...
The best attitude Becca I have found with problems..is to forget about them...roll over the top of them...and get on with life...trusting all to God...believe me it works...whatever condition we may have in life..
To dwell on something only magnifies the issue...best to move forward with confidence Becca to the next challenge and opportunity facing us ahead..
God Bless
