Oh my! What a day
this has been!
We pass the hospital.
All of those sick people.
THAT used to be ME!
(Might still be but I think not!)
We travel past the hospital.
Now, this is new territory
For me!
Everything is sooo green
now,
Spring is Finally here!
I wonder if there is a
Church on Church Road????
We are starting to pass the
”Upscale” neighborhoods now.
The houses are a minimum of
$250,000! Wow!
I have helped Mom in her Real Estate
business before.
Now though, I am totally confused
as to where we are! Ugh!
Now I believe I know!
We just passed Richmond
College on Bus Route 582!
The College has a farm
of trees from the Texas Trees
Foundation! It is Cool!
The Blue Bonnets and Indian
Paintbrushes still cover some
of the opened countryside.
There is still some room left
in Dallas-Believe it or not! (Grin)
I got stuck on the bus,
at the LBJ/Central station!
I was embarrassed! It is a learning
process though!
The kind bus driver,
He did not make me
wait more than ten to
fifteen minutes. He could
have made me wait 40 minutes!
Honestly, I do not think my
bladder would have held up!
(smile)
Going up and over Hwy635,
I saw the mess below, and
was very greatly for not driving
in the stuff!
I was content to be up above and on
the South end of Greenville Avenue
for the moment, at least!
I just now saw a magnificent steeple of a Church.
Perhaps it is the Church on Church Road?
On the bus, there were so many
people dressed from various different
levels of education and/or nations!
A Beautiful woman I saw,
skin slightly different,
her pose more elegant.
She had to be from Egypt
I would say!
There was a colored woman with
a backpack and walkman radio at
Richland College.
She had No money for the bus,
yet the kind busman let her
on the bus any way! How sweet
he was today!
Another woman was dressed from
the neck up in a silk scarf. The only
thing you could see was her eyes.
How elegant and beautiful they were!
Below the neck she had blue jeans on
and a short-sleeve top! I guess that is the
American Way?!?!?!?!?!!?
I seemed to have been the only
Caucasian woman on the bus!
Now, that is certainly different!
I see many homes for sale,
As I travel the bus.
Century 21 has more
listings, this East side
of Hwy 75.
That is too bad for C-21;
ReMax Realtors has their
fare share of SOLD properties
on the West side of Hwy 75,
where I live!
The neighborhoods in this ritzy
part of town want Privacy;
Each back yard has a 6-8 foot high
fence and/ or bushes.
We just passed a pharmacy,
I am only 6 days Sober as of Today for it is 12:04am
on the 20th of April, 2005. Lord, this has become a
task much harder than I thought~!
The temptations return easily,
but I read and reread
Psalm 40!
Sobriety is the key!
We go by an area on Walnut Hill Lane,
I have never been that way before.
We are on a bridge all the time,
with swampland and trees below.
I saw a water moccasin,
hanging on a tree limb.
I am sooo very glad I was on
the Bus and not walking by!
Those suckers hurt!
I do not like any type of
snakes, can you tell?
Whew little doggies!
The bus route 582, is finally back
at Walnut Hill Station.
I am so close to being HOME
and in my own apartment!
Yahoo!
It was a nice ride and all,
but my rear-end is quite sore!
(grin)
I am feeling more independent,
figuring out this *&^%$ Bus System!
Progress though, One Day at a Time!
Getting my things together now,
I push the button to get off one
block before my apartment building.
Remember, comrades,
(((((HUGS))))) and not Drugs)!!!!!!!!!!
