Thnx for sharing Becca. My therapist Robin is great. She doesn't treat you simply as a client, a caseload or a number. She talks to you like a human being. She offers advice, and listens intently to what you are saying. Sometimes she even talks about her son's baseball games or her daughter's dance lessons. I don't actually consider Robin my therapist, but my sister, my friend, and my confidant, because that is what sisters are; they are our friends and confidants. When I first went to see Robin I was a total wreck. It took a while but she was very patient and gave me advice and "homework" to do, and then put it all down on a disk what I had accomplished. It took two years but she got me up to speed. now she talks to me like a friend and a sister. It is really great to have someone like Robin or this wonderful counselor you write about here. May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love, and be with you always, and at your side constantly.
