This poem is about poetry, yet it is also about religion and having God near me and beside me as I journey along in whatever and whenever my life shall lead me.
You and I are of the same God; Even if we do not use the same words.
We would not exist without God, simply because he created us!
Do I love God? You might as well askif I have a heart that beats.
Am I ashamed of him? The question finds no resting place in my mind.
God granted me incredible abilities when he created me.
God provides all necessary lessons to bring my gifts to fruition.
Through these gifts and lessons I bring the image of his "grace in me" to others.
I work to bring this image to the world. Without my work, gifts and lessons are for naught.
I am free to turn away the gifts . I can make a fool of myself anytime!
But, with my work, God expresses through me.
