How I finally understand what it is that parents go thru when their child is ill.
I now understand What a parent feels when their child is ill. My sister got ill when Mom was in East Texas. I stayed up ALL NIGHT!- WORRIED! I have come to realize, What COURAGE AND STRENGTH MY MOTHER HAS TO TAKE CARE OF ME FROM THE TIME I WAS IN COLLEGE TO THE PRESENT WITH THIS BLASTED DISEASE! I told her that I honour her for that last night. She said "Thanks". I have a new found appreciation for parents! Written November 10th, 2003 2:10am Central time All rights reserved

Becca....You know how much I feel this poem...and whether it be a young child or a grown child....always the parents will love and care for it as best they can....that is what parenting is about....loved this poem...floria
