Little Red Car

Bet it is fun riding

In your little red car

Come and pick me up

We can drive real far

In your little red car

Drive it real fast

Like we are riding on rails

Right into our past

In your little red car

We can stop at the park

And enjoy the sunset

While it is getting dark

In your little red car

I will pack the cheese and wine

So we can also sit and dine

In your little red car

We can have some bubbly conversation

And laugh and crack jokes

Like it is our special occasion

In your little red car

You can mess with my hair

And I can give your shirt a tear

In your little red car

We can listen to that music

That you sing and play

And steam up the windows

Until the break of day

In your little red car

That's some invitation, Staci. You ought to know. I used to own a brand new, bright red Datsun B-210. That was some time ago. Love and peace to you,

Regis

I think there's a "little red car" in each of our younger days [maybe even now]. Such pleasant memories ...
