Each night I find my self here Maybe tonight you will pass near Where are you? At this café just down the street In the chance that our eyes will meet I need you In a booth against the back wall Near a phone in case you might call I’m waiting Without warning you appear All alone you’re standing there Heart racing Finally your eyes meet mine We chat, share a glass of wine I’m dreaming Each night I find my self here Maybe tonight you will pass near Where are you? This wonderful piece evokes the longing obsession brings to the one who always waits... just outside the door of life. Bravo!
