Jesus Knows

Jesus hears when I cry
And He knows the reason why.
He caresses my soul with His love
As He sends strength from above.

Jesus hears when I pray
He chases all my troubles away.
He speaks to me in his quiet way
And tells me never forget to pray.

Jesus hears when I sing
Up to heaven my praises ring.
With unspeakable joy in my heart
I'll sing of the wonders His love imparts.

Jesus hears when I sigh
Events and problems, I wonder why.
All these things seem to be
A constant thorn in my liberty.

Jesus knows me as His own
And I'll never, ever feel alone.
Misunderstood but never mislead
Jesus in my life, you are the head.
