A Word From God

God spoke to me one morning
Just before the break of day.
I heard his quiet voice calling me
And I let the Spirit have it's way.

A sweet peace filled my troubled soul
What blessed joy and peace.
For God in all his wisdom
Took time to talk to me.

He said, "I am your Shepherd
Follow me if you will.
I'll lead you through peaceful valleys
Sometimes through troubled fields."

I'll never leave nor forsake you.
On this you can depend.
I'll be with you always
I'll forever be your friend."
