It's cold, she said

waking up from her

freshly made bed

rose petals still

strewn all about

in circles.

It is cold, he replied,

holding his hand out

to her side

lifting her up from

her cocoon.

They looked all around,

there was no sound,

just the silence of

those who remained

dead.

WOW! A metaphor for stupidity or those unenlightened? Whatever the intent, the atmosphere is palpable. Good job! Hey, what's up with HAWN? There doesn't seem to be any activity.
