It's not a fantasy
to be sometimes
glued onto the chair
of bliss

being able to
take a step aside
and looking in
from a different
angle

watching how
what really matters
appears in shades of ease

recognizing sounds
and smells
for that which
one's heart needs

known fact is
for eaxmple
feline sense
of smell is
many times
more acute
than mine

but only at
my house
the cat can't
get the scent of
the pork-chops I
left behind

another truth
could be the
bathroom wars
& tales of
occupation

divided fronts of
things you own
which end up owning you

to steal or borrow
fade in mists
of homely tolerance

besides
sometimes
memory falls
short

and most
disputes
disperse like
cirrus shapes

or something
of the sort

the funny thing
remains the fact

I've never explored
this kind of theme
deeply enough to
find its oil
its grail

or anything as grand
as this emotional blackmail.
