Table-top misery and
the grinding of teeth
visions of heavenly meadows
drenched in the juices
so red

bang bang goes
the crab dance
and every syllable
ceased to make sense

gasping for air
in the middle of darkness
light's been given
and suddenly lost

growing pains
unleashed self-destruction
swimming then crawling
then
finally walking in circles
'til the end

renounce common sense
abhor the immense
grimaces and straight faces
all trying to understand

that fleeting moment of
meaning
that escaping whiff of
enlightenment

life meant to be
lived
not pondered on

as I sit here
hitting these
numb keys
out of focus
and out of thread

ink-fected.
