smelly, rotten
loud,disgusting
choking & sometimes
very wet gasses

vapors of in-digestion
differenty timed
and syncopated
hard to avoid and subdue
olfactory menaces but so
embarrassingly human

subdivided in rows of nouns
or phrases
lines invented from
denial
trying to mask something
obscene but yet all too natural

Multi-cultural meals
end up with a 21 guns salute
bombardaments & explosions
never a pretty little dance

bowels drum-rolls anticipate
the blast
predicting a "It wasn't me"
crimson shame and once too
often the beans get the blame

but wouldn't it be fun
if the colors could be seen?

a cinnamon plume rising
after a sturdy bowl of goulash

a pinkish veil a-floating
after a firm filet of salmon

moss green fog wavering
after a 2nd helping of
flash-fried spinach

not to mention the
glow-in-the-dark &
flourescent,under the covers
spectacles courtesy of fast-food
nameless as tasteless companies

climbing on a train
riding a bike
family cook-outs
assemblies, concerts,
at the opera and even in
church-mosque-temple

14 times a day a
rainbow bandit

day or night
the guilty party

multiplied by
each individual

passed from one
generation onto the next

and, seriously...
would there still be
someone who'll point
a rebuking finger?
