Complikated Katy

Complikated Katy sits in her chair, ponderin' her Life Dreams and the color of her Hair. she thinks her Thoughts and re-lives her "Oughts". re-membering all the Things she's Sold & she's Bought. Complikated Katy moves to the couch. rolls a little smoke from the bottom of the pouch. give's her Life some room to Slouch. smoke dreams gently curl in the air. Katy goes back to ponderin' the color of her Hair. bettern' rememberin' "Why" she's There. Complicated Katy once had her Dreams. seen 'em all burn Away like water in the steam. Complicated Katy heads off to bed. ponderin' her Life's Dreams, and wonderin "Why" she's not Dead.
