a poet's words
are his own.
he but shares
the thoughts
that he's been shown.

that feeling,
that dealing,
that moment in time,
the poet but puts to it
the rythmn & the ryhme.

bless his soul
and bless his heart
for being so kind
to share that part
of his life and his mind.

so to you,
so full of yourself,
to think we care
that you care to think,
i simply say
your thinkin' stinks.

a poem is written
to be read,
not graded.
it's words will Be
long after your dead.
the thought Exists
long after you've faded.

(2). eloquent, multi-syllable ramblings do not add weight to your words. consider the block of concrete - water & sand held together by a slight bit of mortar.
