don't ya' know.
standin' in line
every where i go.

standin' in line
ta' git a seat.
standin' in line
just ta' eat.

standin' in line
ta'git some dough.
take it out or put it in,
standin' in line agin'.

standin' in line
at the grocery store.
standin' in line
got 2 items, ain't no more.

standin' in line
at the picture show.
standin' in line
that's the way it goes.

standin' in line
ta' git my meds.
least i don't have ta'
stand in line
ta' go ta' bed.

Oh yeah!
and what's worse than this you ask?

What's worse is:

You're standing in line
and the shop is warm
your sweat is pouring
and somebody in front of you is

writing a cheque,
counting some pennies,
or changing some coupons!

Oh those wonderful lines!
You stand in them!
You hate them!
And you love them!
