it went great
First Rate
didn't stay out too late
'least neither one of us cut bait
and ran
can't wait
for the next time
follow the rythmn & the rhyme
give it time
be sublime
ya' never can tell from the first date
if it's fate
whether ya' be a soul mate
oh well, we'll see
guess thing's will be
'bout the way they're supposed ta' be
'tween her & me
but the date was nice
just 'nuff sugar, just 'nuff spice
