I wrote this poem, as all other works, being true to myself. Some who read my writings know me through them, and I think that is what makes the work powerful, the truth in it. If that is a lack of humanness, I'd rather have that than PRETENSE.
Across the seas you found me
From that distant Germany
Read my poems repeatedly
Why the feeling, honestly?
Do poems reveal the writer?
Can you feel the woman there-
You're sure there is no other
Who can make your heart falter?
Oh you woo a padlocked heart,
That's been pained and torn apart.
Will your love make a new start-
And promise not to depart?
I'm careful not to forget
The fact we have never met,
If you're in love, is it set-
With the poem or the poet?

Maybe is a crush that the little boy has for his teacher, that puppy love is only charming as don't grow to be a sucking octopus.
In love with your poems? that should give you a sense of pride.
And then again...
well expressed lines here, but I believe the very best poems allow us a small peak into the poet writing them, but I doubt they could ever tell the whole story, a great thought provoking write
