I don't go shopping much, because I'm trying to avoid encounters with unfriendly people. Today, it was bad and this is what I came home with...

Can we have just one day of nothings
can we indulge in a day of rest
can we take five to catch those bearings
can we sit out from this long quest.

I watch people run all over
I watch people way behind
I watch them search for four leaved clover
I watch them slowly lose their mind.

Tell me what’s with all this screaming
Tell me what’s with all this stress
Tell me what happened to you dreaming
I tell you how to free from this mess.

I don’t have all of the answers
I don’t know more than you do
But I know not to run like hamsters
So take this as a little clue.

I love the way you think
I don't know what has happened to society.
Always rushing, or hurry up and wait.
Love,
Ron

The world truly seems to be spinning ever faster these sad days; spinning right out of control.

I thought it was just me being pro anglo. But I have notice us English will queue for any reason, and be jolly polite.

Yet in america I was amazed at the shoving, pushing, and just not playing cricket, the me, me, me first... and don't get me started in restaurants over there. But being european, you are not liked one bit anymore.
Now we tell holiday makers Cuba is far better than America... as is Russia...So bloody pushy and rude...

Becca,

I love to watch people and just listen to them. It's interesting to see what makes people tick. Most of the time I go home with the feeling that my life isn't so bad after all. Peace, Love and Blessings to You and Yours Always, Paul.

Right you are again charmin Becca, the rat race was so named because people have such a tendency to live life when it comes to working, shopping, exercising etc as if today were the last day of their lifes. If they applied that same policy to loving and laughing...wow what a world we would have...

I now have given the bulk of my shopping to my children and I too get stressed out watching people who don't have a clue at being nice and I end up with all th anxiety and stress when the shopping is over and with some of my temper lost.

Ah, it is the age, the instand gratification age, Rebecca, where no one wants to wit for anything and no one gives anyone else the time of day . . . I m as guilty as that as the next guy, I suppose . . .

People need to learn manners and stop being so RUDE!! It's no wonder we have so many problems today!

Very well penned, Rebecca; brava!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :(

Too bad too many are too busy (say THAT three times fast) to take the hint - courtesy has been rushed out of them, it's all greed, greed, greed, forget everyone but yourself. Shame, too. Excellent, thought provoking write, Rebecca, well done.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Doesn't help when sales help is rude, too ... as well as those on the roads ... everywhere. Lack of respect, sorely missed -

Karma Bank to Following By Listening by Chiemi

These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
