Perhaps you need to be reminded that Valentine derived from an ancient word valens - which means worthy…. are you? LOL It is important to tell your significant other - I Love You, many times a day, not just Valentine's Day. On the other hand, it is nice to get that unexpected bigger and better than usual surprise, I think.
I thought I was the only one who hated Valentine's Day; guess not. I still do like the message of love; however when one doesn't have anyone, it's hard to handle. Good write, though, Rebecca; well penned!

A good twist, and I love Valentine's day, but this was a really unique way of looking at the holiday.

I love this because I have avowed to ignore the Valentine's days and most of the other days which are made to fatten the merchants pockets . . . Christmas included . . . I bet two=thirds of the population of America don't even realize what Christmas is all about . . . Loved this . . .
