Incomplete

Like the night skies without the stars

Empty

Like a highway without any cars

Cold and dark

Like a mansion without love and light

Desolate

Like the country roads at midnight.

Barren

Like the sands of the desert when it’s hot..

Deserted

Like the little island that time forgot.

This is how my heart felt today,

When I realised you were gone to stay!
