A little prince once appeared to me,
He was as sweet as sweet can be.
He came to me right out of the blue
And said, "I would like to be a friend to you."

This little prince has since stolen my heart,
Even though we are now oceans apart.
His love for life has been an inspiration,
I'm sure one day, he would rule a nation.

He's funny, he's witty, he's cute and he's charming,
Sometimes he acts so "stoopid", it's alarming.
He makes me laugh, he makes me smile,
He makes me feel like a little 'chile'.

I know one day my prince will disappear,
Just as quietly as came to me here.
But until then, I'll enjoy the time spent with him,
Knowing chances of us meeting are very slim.
