God’s Goodness

In the misery and struggles we encounter,
            WE must look for God’s goodness.
In the beauty around us,
            We easily see God’s goodness.

 Sometimes we feel abandoned in times of misery,
           Such an awful feeling – this emptiness.
Yet, He is by our side.
He is the consummate guide.
He never leads us off the right path.
It is we who have forgotten to ask for or listen to His direction.
We just need to look for God’s goodness.

When the struggles are many,
            All we have to do is pray.
We have to be quiet and listen to what He has to say.
For He will show His goodness.

We see God’s beauty in the life around us.
It is in people’s faces.
It is in nature.
It is in peacefulness.
It is in the love we share,
            And the love shared with us.
It is in knowing that people care.

Yes, everyday – 
            We can easily see God’s goodness!
We but have to look and listen.
