Because.  God is LOVE

When I think of God, I think of a benevolent Father.
Each day He gives me His LOVE.
I don’t even have to bother to ask.
It’s just there.
Why?
Because.  God is LOVE.

As my Father, He cares for my well-being.
After all, He is all-seeing.
When I ask for guidance,
It is there.
When I ask for mercy,
It is there.
When I ask for comfort,
It is there.
When I ask for the sky,
Sometimes He says “Yes,”
“Not today,”
Or, “No, it’s not in your best interest.”
And, He always knows what’s best.

Do I always agree with His decision?
Nah!
Sometimes I feel sad.
Sometimes it leaves me feeling blah.
Is what I’m asking for so bad?
Usually it revives my tired soul.
Then, when I understand the wondrousness of His decisions,
 I laugh just marveling at His timing.

Then, I’m reminded that He gave His life for me.
So, I could live with Him for all eternity.
I am one of many.
Yet, He knows all my weaknesses and strengths.
He gave me weaknesses to remember His strength.
He gave me strengths to glorify Him.
Why?
Because.  God is LOVE!
