Dinner for Winners

Jesus asked us to come
to His banquet table.
Where each, who desires,
will find His kingdom.

The feast that He spreads
Fills our souls and hearts.
Never will we be hungry, again.
He did this even though we have sinned.

In His infinite mercy and love
we continue to receive
God’s blessings from above
Just as He said we would.

He did not mean for us to disbelieve,
but to receive
His blessings,
and reach for new heights.

That is why He gave
His body and blood.
For us to be saved
Saying, “Yes, they are good.”

Never be hungry,
Is His battle cry.
In the sharing of His banquet  –
We’ll rise at the trumpet’s blare
and He will declare
“Come into My kingdom,
all who partook
Of my dinner for winners!”
