Candor  [To Shee, with love]

I offer you my wisdom
You call it interference

I offer you my love
You call it nagging

I offer you guidance
You call it controlling

I offer you hope
You call it bull s%*!

I offer you my heart
You say, “Yeah, but …”

I offer you a home
You say it is like a prison

I offer you friendship
You say, “A friend would never …”

I offer up my tears
Through all my fears

Someday, you will truly know
How much I love you so

My love and hope is eternal

Author’s Note:  I don’t usually post two poems in one day.  Yet, I can feel Shee’s sadness to the core of my heart and want her to know that there is hope and love.  From me to you.

What a sweet loving poem Kathy~! Thank YOU very very much!
I feel so touched that you do understand, as many have made me think
HARDER on God's plan!
that I don't yet understand!
Time will tell
and I know I will
I am feeling less angry
and that is keeping me sane and almost happy!
I love the style of this poem, you have written!
Makes one think HARD!'
Many blessings, Inner Peace, Bright Light and Warm Hugs, Warrior Purple Lady Sheooxoo

STay Positive!GOD BLESS YOU and yours too!Your poem helped soften my almost bitter heart.

This is beautifully moving compassion, Kathy, I, too, feel bad for her - feel her pain - this may help a tiny bit, knowing there are those who love her, as you do by gifting her with this write - well done.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Well stated Kathy for I think most parents have this disccussion with themselves at one time or another. It is just human nature and only time, love and patience will perservere in the end.

This is beautiful and heartfelt. Sometimes we need to give them time to know the extent of love we feel. They will in time. Keep loving and keep writing. Great penned. Love, Bonnie
