Maybe he can't be seen or touched, etc... but I believe his presence can most definitely be felt! :~) His peace surpasses all understanding and He loves us infinitely and without regard... beautifully put.

Good poetry. I doubted God as after I watch my husband die, but not for long. Cause as he passed away he said What is that, and looked up into the air. I know he saw angels or God and went peacefully. Your poem reminds me of this time and I like reliously reading them.

As Agnostic I find this poem more in line with what a loving God should be like, not the organized religion version who says you have to pay this and do that and accept blindly never questioning. I think you are right that to know there is a higher power and to live your life to the best of your abilities without harming your fellow man is enough for any truly benevolent God...
