I wonder why it is that so few of us think about what we are leaving behind until just before we step onto the bridge to a spirit world.

Dear Kathy, I came across your lovely poem,it is not easy to leave a legacy which shows only goodness. But we are not the only ones to decide about our legacy. We have to do our best even if it doesn't come across as we want it to do. The intention is the relevant factor. Enjoy your life and let the future generation determine what good we left. Love Emile

"the good men do is oft interred with their bones -- while the evil lives on forever" -- if not an exact quote, very close and capturing the essence of what it meant anyway -- there is a great deal of inspiration and love in your poem Kathy -- peace and love to you this day -- JMW
