This poem tells of a person that is waiting to inherite eternal life.

I'm not so very young anymore.

I've seen the sun come up many times

before.

I walked through green meadows time,

and time again.

Down through the years I have found,

That on Jesus I can depend.

I once was young, but now I'm old,

I soon may leave this earth, my hands

will fold.

But even though I'm very old in age,

I'm still young in heart.

But when I'm gone to my final resting

place,

I'll have a brand new start.

In Heaven, I'll never grow old again.

For one day I'll look upon my Savior,

He is also my very best friend.
