Think before you speak! I Know I have trouble with this one and need reminders all the time to watch how I say things and to not just say the first thing that comes out of my mouth.
Hurtful Words!
We say them, but do not mean them.
But mean them when we say them.
Say them cause we hurt and want to hurt.
Know afterwards, We should not have said them!
But know we can not take them back.
Why do we say them, then? Spite? Pity?
Anger? Jealousy? Cause Pain?
The hurtful tongue, God hates the tongue,
We are to learn to tame our tongue.
Why do our marriages fall apart,
Our Tongue!
Some say Pride, Some say communication.
We communicate sometimes,
too much, with our hurtful tongue! The Evil tongue.
Thousands of years, and still we can not,
curb the one things God said to "tame,
the Tongue!"
