Unnoticed

Sitting on the seat
inside the door
watching the people go by
She remembers...
A child
too small to be noticed
sitting on the seat near the door
watching the people
who sometimes watched her
But now...
she is old
past her useful years
Sitting on the seat
inside the door
watching the world pass her by
unnoticed.
