Tribute to church couple on their 50th wedding anniversary.
Not so long ago, The day that we got married. Not so long ago, Our young we often carried. We had to work so hard, When life would treat us bad. Our family, friends, and church, Were all we often had. We worked to make a dollar, While living here and there. But stayed together through it all, And learned to love and share. Jesus was our teacher, We loved him and each other. Growing older just increased, Our love for Christian brothers. Not so long ago, The time it went so fast. Not so long ago, Fifty years at last.
