Cinquain Poetry is a form invented by the American poet Adelaide Crapsey. I stumbled upon this the other night & I wish to learn types of varied poetry. The following were selected forms from Modern Cinquain Poetry type, I think would be considered Didactive Cinquain Type; There are several variations to Cinquain Poetry Types.

Ahhh ... beautifully expressed, 1-2-3-4-1.

I love when poets get out of their comfort zones and try something new. I am very much sold on the notion myself. It's amazing what you can find out about yourself, and about writing, when you get out of yourself and try to adhere to a classic form.

I was going to throw out a challenge a while back for writers to write something in a form they've never written in before. To research it, to study it, to experiment, and then post it. Something held me back. I salute you for your adventurous spirit Vickie, and also for sharing such mellifluous thoughts. great work!
