Pearlescent Moon Jewels

Poem Artwork

 Moonspun Romance

Could you wait for me
near the snow kissed morn?
...Whisper to the clouds to leave
So that the sunshine can kiss the earth,
beckoning my thoughts to dance this dance
embracing these jewels of our moonspun romance...

I like this poem because of its subtle power.
The words you used for visuals were especially effective.

Delectable words that caress with swirling colour, and endless possibility...
Divine!...
The picture is perfectly chosen too...

I loved the poem, Vickie, and especially the possible double entendre last line. As I read this I could visualize the clouds breaking up and disappearing leaving a clear, bright spot where the sun kissed the earth. Short, beautiful poetry.
