I set fire to your flame...

Poem Artwork

Melted Wax & The Nocturnal Night Hawk

Hand rolled beeswax tapers

And sapphire jeweled candelabrums

I hung them in the Birch woods

They light our way

Dripping with honeyed dreams

Our orchids are pleasure troves

Announcing our sensual intimacy

I pluck foxgloves and moon ivy

(you are my sweetest bouquet)

Wrapping your fragrant bodice with palms

Dancing my fingers across the melted wax

I write my name across the permanence of your soul

Offering you this nectarous osculation

Succulent upon these whet unending songs we sing

Echoing deep inside you where a magician lives

Solemn and vowing to reach climactic ovations

I toy with the rhythmist of your subterranean breathing

Where You and I unite under moonspun pearls and jewels

Gazing at the silence of our whispering willows

We know that we are the honeycombs of tomorrow

Exploring sweet delectations of purified dreams

Unharmed by the thorny grotto of the black forest

As the nocturnal night hawk sees our shadows

My savory fingertips dance across the melted wax

As I…

As you what? After all that stroking and petting, all that foreplay, and all that wax melting and flowing down, I ready to rip, or what?

Brazilian fun.

And it's all displayed at the side of the book cover...what we have is purely fire...those only wish...they can't touch it. Harassing drips you teased my GC and lit it with Patron spit! I burn!

"As I..."

Yes indeed, I hear that loud and clear my friend. Dancing with fantastic wordplay the poem generates such pleasurable imaginations and succulent, syrupy thoughts of "nectarous osculation." My, my . . . yesssss!

The Heart's Way by Rebecca McKeehan

Love is universal and not limited to the most perfect among us. In this collection of romantic short stories and poetry, love comes to those who are decidedly imperfect, who possess very real human flaws, scars, and challenges. Awaiting us as we are.
