The fear of the unknown is the fear we see inthe storms that decend on us.
But, every storm psses, does it not.
He is always in control

Sheets of water pouring down
seems like the sky is falling
wind is whipping the trees
as though they were twigs

The once still night
has been replaced by the
rolling thunder and flashes of lightning

This storm that once
would have ushered in
feelings of fear and dread
now brings the marvel
of it's beauty instead

I look into the dark night sky
and see no stars, yet
I still see the wonder of
this power

For the same voice that
spoke this storm
into being
can silence it with one word


the same still voice that
calms the sea
has calmed the
storm inside of me
